Age Old enough to know better, young enough not to care!
Grew up On a farm in Ganmain - a small country town in NSW
University Charles Sturt Uni, Wagga Wagga
Best feature My smile (it takes more muscles to frown) and my legs (a plus for being so tall)
Interests Travel, Sport, Food & Wine
Achievements There were bets placed when I left for London in 2003 – a country girl wouldn’t be able to survive more than six months away from home.
Life goal Take each day as it comes, enjoying both the good and bad… And continue smiling.
Favourite quote * When you were born, everyone around you was smiling and you were crying. Live your life so that when you die, you’re smiling and everyone around you is crying
Best life experience All of them… some experiences are better than others, though each day’s a school day!
Best travel experience Where to start, there are too many… I’m sure the stories should also include a few beers!
Worst travel experience Ending up in the middle of Hungary with no money, no idea where we were (except that the name of the town was Balatonkeresztur!!) and having to walk 20km with heavy backpack to our destination… that had no accommodation!
Best sporting experience Playing netball at the Millennium Stadium, Wales! Skiing in France – It’s amazing and can’t wait to do it again! I was lucky enough to have a very cute French instructor who told me… “If you don’t know how to stop, I’ll catch you!” Mmm…
Worst sporting experience Not learning how to stop properly whilst skiing in France! Numerous accidents involved, though I usually caused more pain for others who managed to get in my way. One who came out with a bleeding nose, bruised cheek and bent ski pole. The other, was crossing the black run and not deciding quick enough which path to take on the other side. I decided to take the middle option - the orange safety fence and I was left hanging.
Favourite London bar Too many to choose from… Depends on the atmosphere you’re looking for. But you can never beat a small English Pub with a big open fire!!
History with Vibe Have been putting out the Vibe since 2004, when I joined the team with Paul & CJ.
Role Consultant Team Leader
Favourite thing about Vibe The good times and the people – The Vibe Team, Teachers, Schools… and the additional random people involved!
