| Best travel experience | All of them! From weekends away down the Great Ocean Road in Victoria to big trips like 3 months in South America all my travel experiences have been unique and memorable made so special by the people I have travelled with and the people I have met along the way. |
| Worst travel experience | The 13 hour overnight bus ride from La Paz in Bolivia down south to Uyuni. Although not even close to the longest bus trip I have done (which I think was about 26hrs) it was the scariest. I seriously feared for my life as the bus ‘drove’ across country as there simply were no roads to drive on. Often rising up on to one side I am sure the bus came very close to tipping over a number of times – no seat belts of course. To add to the whole horrific experience, the bus did not stop once! So by the time we made it to Uyuni, I thought my bladder was going to burst. I desperately pushed my way off the bus and tried very hard to find a toilet as quickly as possible. Not easy when you don’t speak the local language! |
| Favourite London bar | Lab in Soho due to their very extensive and impressive cocktail list. My aim is to test every cocktail on the menu. |
| History with Vibe | Back in October 2007, I stumbled across a Gumtree advertisement that was advertising for a Recruitment Consultant position with Vibe. As much as I love being in the classroom, I missed working in an office as I had done back home. So I applied for the job now, here I am! They have had me chained to the desk with a phone permanently attached to my ear ever since. Occasionally they let me out to go and visit some of our schools. |
