The story of vibe so far…

Just over seven years ago two young Aussie’s set off from their friends and family to travel the world. However, after only a few short months they decided to follow a dream of building a teaching agency that would better understand, serve and support the schools and teachers in London.

Vibe, and the catchphrase “It’s just the vibe of the thing!” (from the classic Aussie film, “The Castle”) were then chosen as the perfect match to describe and represent the company and its values.

Vibe has since gone from strength to strength, having taken the time to carefully develop strong relationships with schools and teachers through the provision of quality service and support, and thus gradually gaining the trust of schools and teachers, it has now built a reputation of being the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable and positive name in teacher recruitment in London.

Following the return to Australia in 2003 of one of its founders, Todd Richardson, Vibe has pushed forward under co-founder Paul Harris (and NZ wife Renee Cullen), together with a fantastic team who have helped make and shape Vibe into what it is today.

The backbone of the team include ‘Operations Manager’ Craig Jones, who studied with Paul at University, and joined the team in 2003 after teaching with Vibe from it’s conception to that point. Team Manager Rachael Hamblin, who studied under Paul’s father Rob at University (CSU), joined the team in 2005 having also initially taught through Vibe. Team Manager Campbell Kerr, who also studied under Paul’s father at CSU, taught at some of Vibe’s marquee schools for 2 years before coming on board in the office. Team Manager Luke Callaghan, who wore the same jacket to registration as Paul had on(!), taught SEN through Vibe for 4 years before entering the office. TA Team Manager Denis Sekula joined the team in July 2007, but has somehow always just been there or thereabouts!

Additionally to these ‘old-timers’, Rebecca Hyman, Lisa Hamilton, Sarah Baker and Kate James complete our enigmatic consultants team, Adria Marshall ‘puts up with’ Denis in the TA team, and Kate McCarter is leading up our new Secondary arm.

We are very proud that today, Vibe stays true to its principles, continuing to build meaningful relationships with its schools and teachers through continuing to teach, and continuing to know, understand and care for their needs.
