Dress? Check! Fascinator? Check! Umbrella and wellies? …Well, this is England after all!

Still, the Vibe crew will never let a few clouds on the horizon spoil a marvellously English day out at the races and Royal Ascot is the place to be for everyone who’s anyone this weekend!

There will be no Vibe T-shirts in sight, but even if you’re not on the Fun Bus, come over and say “Hi” if you see a large group of friendly Aussies and one token Brit (that’s me!).

Check out my Amazing Ascot Facts:

  • - The first Royal Meeting at Ascot took place in 1768 - that’s 20 years before we (us Brits!) colonised Australia!!
  • - Ascot’s grass is cut to a regulation 4” height for flat racing and 5” for jump racing (who’s job is it to measure that?!).
  • - I used to work there, serving in the private boxes! Yep, I’ve come a long way!
