Glastonbury - Here I come!
I can’t believe how quickly this weekend has come around! It feels like only yesterday when I was sitting at the computer, credit card in one hand, other hand strategically placed over the mouse ready to press ‘purchase now’ for my Glastonbury ticket- oh the excitement!
And now my bag is packed, with the three things that I consider to be most important for a festival: Baby wipes, toothbrush and gumboots (or ‘wellies’ as I embarrassingly realised they were called here in the UK as I stood in the middle of the shoe store asking ‘Do you have any gumboots’ and was met with a very, very blank look).
So, I am off to join the other 165, 999 revellers to enjoy the music, fun and frivolity that comes with a music festival of such mammoth proportions. I have done my fair share of music festivals, but this is the big one. I hope I survive…
